Rebecca is currently on secondment working as People and Culture Manager for the Department of Brain Sciences and Department of Immunology and Inflammation. She is also a Mental Health First Aid instructor for the College.
Prior to this, she worked as the Undergraduate Education Manager in the Department of Earth Science and Engineering. She is responsible for overseeing the administration and delivery of the undergraduate provision in the department. Rebecca is a member of the ESE Mental Health Awareness team, the ESE Athena SWAN SAT, and the ESE Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Committee.
She previously worked as Education Manager (maternity cover) in the National Heart and Lung Institute, overseeing the delivery of UG, PGT, and PGR education. Prior to this, she worked on the Education Team in the Department of Surgery & Cancer, covering various aspects of quality assurance and programme delivery.
Before relocating to London, Rebecca was employed by Newcastle University and held posts on the Executive Team in the Faculty of Science, Agriculture, and Engineering, as well as the Engagement Team in the Faculty of Medical Sciences.
Rebecca is originally from Canada, and relocated to the UK in 2012 to undertake an MA in Cross-Cultural Communication and International Relations at Newcastle University.
