Ric is a PhD student in the Dyson School of Design Engineering. He is also a member of the Science and Solutions for a Changing Planet Doctoral Training Partnership (SSCP DTP) at the Grantham Institute.
His research looks at sustainable food production and ways in which technology can be used to improve the current food production system. This considers a range of fields including design science, system transitions and automation.
Ric has come from the Design Engineering MEng course and has a history of working with multiple startups in the sustainability field which use robotics in novel applications.
