Biography
Dr Robin North is Lecturer in Transport and Environmental Planning and leads the Transport and Environmental Analysis research group at the Centre for Transport Studies. His work is concerned with evaluating the real-world environmental impacts of transport using state-of-the-art monitoring and modelling methodologies.
He completed his undergraduate studies in Aeronautical Engineering at Imperial College London including a year spent at Ecole Centrale de Lyon, France. Following this, he joined the Centre for Transport Studies in 2002, completing his PhD in 2006 before moving on to Post-Doctoral Research on UK and European projects. He is a Member of the Instituion of Engineering Technology and sits on the US National Academy of Sciences Transportation Research Board Standing Committee on Transportation and Air Quality (ADC20).
