Stanislava Boskovic joined the department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Imperial College London, in 2017 as a visiting academic, having previously lectured in contemporary city design and urban transformations in Swiss, Italian, Russian and Spanish universities. She is currently involved as a Research Associate in two European Union’s funded multidisciplinary projects, euPOLIS and HEART, focused on improvement of Public Health and Wellbeing in cities through the systematic implementation of nature-based technologies. Both projects aim to improve urban resilience through interventions based on integrated systemic design and modelling for assessment of NBS infrastructure. Stanislava is part of Centre for Systems Engineering and Innovation and Water Systems Integration (WSI) research group.
She has a Doctorate in Architecture from the Accademia di Architettura in Mendrisio (Universita’ della Svizzera Italiana - USI), Switzerland and previous degrees from the Moscow Architectural Institute (MArchI) and the Accademia di Architettura in Mendrisio (USI), Switzerland. Stanislava has struck an optimal balance between her academic talents and practical skills, having an in-depth understanding of both academic theory and the challenges of successfully realizing a project. Her interdisciplinary background and experience of working on various international projects enables her to bring a unique and highly qualitative perspective to new projects.
