Stanislava Boskovic joined the department of Civil and Environmental Engineering in 2017 as a visiting academic, having previously lectured in contemporary city design and urban transformations in Swiss, Italian, Russian and Spanish universities. She is part of the Urban Water Research Group, identifying optimal cases for the introduction and implementation of new integrated nature based technologies. Stanislava has a particular interest in the future proofing of cities through the devising and application of strategies designed to mitigate the effects of environmental degradation.
She has a Doctorate in Architecture from the Accademia di Architettura in Mendrisio (USI), Switzerland and previous degrees from the Moscow Architectural Institute (MArchI) and the Accademia di Architettura in Mendrisio (USI), Switzerland. Stanislava has struck an optimal balance between her academic talents and practical skills, having an in-depth understanding of both academic theory and the challenges of successfully realizing a project. Her interdisciplinary background and experience of working on various international projects enables her to bring a unique and highly original perspective to new projects.
