Summary
Summary
I'm one of three Operational Improvement Specialists in the Change and Operational Improvement team, who work to understand the College's operations processes better in order to make them more efficient. I work to analyse and improve processes through analysis, observation, facilitation, and problem-solving, with the ultimate objective of making colleagues' lives easier.
I've previously worked on the HR transformation process, turning paper-based processes digital as well as defining improvement opportunities through data analysis.
I also worked on the College Space Sharing programme, developing Exam Timetabling policy to reduce unsuitable exam venues, as well as the Commercial Assets Portfolio methodology.
Career History
I joined the College in November 2014 as a Finance Trainee after receiving my Masters in History and Philosophy of Science and Medicine from Durham University. I worked as a Finance Officer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering before moving to the Management Trainee scheme. I undertook placements in Operational Improvement and Communications before joining Operational Improvement full-time as a Project Support Officer.
In 2019 I took up the role of Operational Improvement Specialist within the team.
