Summary
Sam is a PhD student at Imperial College London. He is part of the EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) in Sustainable Civil Engineering. His research focuses on the microstructure and durability of concretes prepared with supplementary cementitious materials (SCMs). The research is conducted in partnership with HeidelbergCement and is supervised by Dr. Hong Wong and Prof. Chris Cheeseman.
Sam received a BA and MEng degree in Civil, Structural and Environmental Engineering from Cambridge University in 2017. His industry experience from summer internships includes working as a Site Engineer for Laing O'Rourke on Crossrail at Liverpool Street Station.
