I am a 1st year PhD student, based at both the Department of Infectious Disease Epidemiology and the at the ZSL Institute of Zoology. My PhD is supervised by Rosie Woodroffe (ZSL), Christl Donnelly(Imperial College) and Pierre Nouvellet (University of Sussex). My research interests include disease ecology and wildlife conservation. My project involves a combination of fieldwork in Laikipia, Kenya and mathematical modelling to consider the effects of non-fatal rabies in East Africa, with implications both for the protection of human health and conservation of African wild dogs. I am funded by a President's PhD scholarship.
My undergraduate degree was in Biological Science at St Catherine’s College, Oxford, following which I completed an MSc in Conservation and Biodiversity at the University of Exeter.
