My current work is related to designing optimal mixtures and products within the Computer-Aided Mixture/blend Design (CAMbD) framework.  In view of the challenges that remain in the area of formulation design, the main purpose of this work is to create a comprehensive and systematic mathematical programming approach for the solution of generalised CAMbD problems. In order to address the difficulties arising from the complexity of expressing the problem within a mathematical framework, we adopt a logic-based methodology in which Generalised Disjunctive Programming (GDP) is used to formulate the discrete choices inherent in mixture/blend design problems.
