Summary

Susie Schofield is a medical statistician at the National Heart and Lung Institute.

Susie graduated from Newcastle University with a BSc in Mathematics and Statistics. She then went on to graduate from Manchester University with an MSc in Statistics in 2005. In 2006 she joined the department of Occupational and Environmental Medicine. 

Current projects include

  • ADVANCE - a 20 year cohort study, investigating a wide range of outcomes relating to combat injury
  • A study investigating the long term adverse health effects of exposure to fire smoke at the Grenfell Fire
  • SPIRAL  - A study looking into individually ventilated cages in laboratory animal facilities and prevention of laboratory animal allergy
