I'm a synthetic biologist interested in natural product biosynthesis. Recently, I have started as a Faculty Research Fellow (Wellcome Trust) supported through the Department of Medicine working on the biosynthesis of antibiotics.
Primarily, I'm working on the use of in vitro enzymology for the study of natural product biosynthesis, using both cell-free protein synthesis and purified enzyme systems.
