Summary
Susannah Bloch is a Clinical Research Fellow within the Respiratory and Skeletal Muscle and Muscle Gene Expression research groups, National Heart and Lung Institute.
Susannah was awarded a Clinical Research Fellowship by the Medical Research Council in 2010 and is currently undertaking a PhD at the NHLI and Imperial with the supervision of Professor Mike Polkey, Dr Mark Griffiths and Dr Paul Kemp. The research aims to investigate the pathogenesis of intensive care unit acquired paresis (ICAUP).
Susannah completed her medical training at Imperial College London and St Mary’s and graduated in 2003. She has completed her MRCP and is now a third year specialist registrar in Respiratory Medicine training in the London Deanery. She has also completed an MSc in Respiratory Medicine at Imperial.
