Summary

I am a postdoctoral research associate working with Dr Emilio Martínez-Pañeda in the Mechanics and Infrastructure Materials Lab. I am developing new phase field-based computational tools for predicting hydrogen-assisted failures. I am funded by an R&D contract with EPRI.

I completed my Ph.D. thesis on phase field fracture modelling of solids under the supervision of Dr. Vinh Phu Nguyen at Monash University, Australia in November 2021. I have completed my master's degree in structural engineering from IIT Bombay, India. I also have more than five years of industrial experience in the domain of analysis & design of nuclear power plant structures.

During my Ph.D., I have implemented my mathematical models on feFRAC, which is based on the open-source finite element library JIVE. I have experience in commercial finite element packages such as Abaqus.
