ThienSon Vu is a PhD candidate working in the Biological Forms and Functions Laboratory under the supervision of Dr. Naomi Nakayama.

ThienSon generally interests in the study of life science through the proxy of 'dogmatic' biomolecules: DNA, RNA, and proteins; as well as the development of biotechnology tools as the basis to proceed with such studies.

At Imperial College, ThienSon is working to develop the plant cell suspension as a synthetic biology chassis to recapitulate the linear flow of genetic information.

Before coming to Imperial, ThienSon received a Master's degree from the University of Tokyo and a BSc degree from the University of Science, Vietnam National University.
