Summary

Dr Le is a research associate in the Geotechnics section. His main research field is in experimental soil mechanics, specifically element scale testing of problematic soils. His is interested in investigating fundamental mechanical behaviour for a range of soil types.

Dr Le is currently a member of the British Geotechnical Association and Institute of Civil Engineers.

Dr. Le earned a PhD in Civil engineering from the University of Sydney, Australia. He also obtained a B. Architecture and B. Civil Engineering from the University of Sydney. Prior to joining Imperial College, Dr. Le was serving as an advanced laboratory and research engineer in industry.

AREAS OF EXPERTISE:

Soil properties, advanced laboratory testing, soil characterisation, soft and stiff clayey soils, geotechnical instrumentation.
