Summary
I have operational oversight of a portfolio of clinical trials in mental health involving the assessment of both investigative medicinal products and complex interventions, leading a small team of trial coordinators, monitors and administrative staff. We ensure the safe conduct of the trials, according to protocol and with adherence to research governance and regulatory requirements. My responsibilities include the development of study protocols and SOPs, preparation of ethical and regulatory submissions, proactive risk identification and supporting issue resolution through effective team leadership, managing budgets and contractual arrangements. I also collaborate on the development of new projects including funding applications.
