Summary

Verity Leeson oversees the management of a portfolio of clinical trials in mental health, the majority of which involve the assessment of investigative medicinal products. This entails supervising a small team of trial coordinators, monitors and administrative staff to ensure the safe conduct of the trials with adherence to necessary pharmacovigilance. Day-to-day responsibilities include protocol and other document writing, preparation of ethical and regulatory submissions, proactive risk identification and supporting issue resolution, managing the budget and contractual arrangements, and collaboration on the development of new projects including funding applications.
