I’m a Research Associate working on Demand Side Response, an emerging and effective mean towards the integration of large shares of renewable energy sources. My main research interest are modelling, control and economics impact of distributed Thermostatically Controlled Loads (TCLs). I am also focused on the inertial response of future low-carbon power systems, developing robust computational methods to incentivize a faster provision frequency response services.

My background is in the field of Electrical Engineering (Control and Power) having gained a B.Sc. (Politecnico di Bari, 2008), a M.Sc. (Politecnico di Bari, 2010) and a Ph.D. (imperial College London, 2005) in this topic.
