Summary

About me:

I am currently studying at the Landscape and Basin Research Group (LBRG, supervised by Prof. Gary Hampson), the 3D Seismic Interpretation Research Lab (3D@IC, supervised by Dr. Lidia Lonergan), and the Resource Geophysics Academy (RGA, supervised by Prof. Yanghua Wang FREng). I am interested in the thermal-fluid modeling of the ultra-deep carbonate reservoirs in the Shunbei oilfield, Tarim Basin. Before joining Imperial, I have studied the formation mechanism and evolution history of the Mt. Himalayas in the Tibet plateau based on field geological investigation and deep seismic reflection detection methods.

Project Topic:

  • Characterization and modelling of carbonate reservoirs in the Tarim Basin

Biography:

  • PhD Petroleum Geology, Imperial College London. 2020 - Present
  • MSc Structural Geology, Sun Yat-sen university. 2018 - 2020
  • BSc Geology/Earth Science, Sun Yat-sen university. 2014 - 2018
