Summary

Dr Xiaoe Li is currently based at the Molecular Sciences Research Hub (White City campus) in the group of Professor James Durrant. Her role involves managing and training and supervision of research staff and students using suite of specialist electronic materials laboratories within MSRH.

She completed her PhD in Physical Chemistry from Imperial College London in 2012, with her research project focusing on molecular functionalisation of nanocrystalline mesoporous metal oxide films and their applications in optical sensing and dye-sensitised solar cells. She then initiated fabrication, optimisation and characterisation of perovskite solar cells.

Research interests: nanocrystalline, mesoporous metal oxide films, molecular functionalisation of such films with organic compounds, heterogeneous sensing, dye-sensitised solar cell, perovskite solar cells, and solar fuels.
