Mr Yoga Wienda Pratama is a Postgraduate Research Student in the Centre for Environmental Policy and the Centre for Process Systems Engineering at Imperial College London. His PhD research focuses on multi-scale modelling and optimisation of energy systems, assessing the role of energy conversion and storage technologies in energy systems of different system characteristics. Prior to joining Imperial College London as a PhD student, he earned his B.Eng. and M.Eng. in Chemical Engineering from Universitas Indonesia and an M.Eng. degree in Energy Systems Engineering from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. In Michigan, he was awarded a Sigma Theta Mu honour society membership in recognition of demonstrated scholarship and excellence in his studies. In the last 5 years, Yoga has been involved in many research and consulting projects works in collaboration with various institutions, including 2 research projects with Kyoto University, 2 consultancy projects with PT. PGN (Indonesian state-owned natural gas distribution company), and 4 consultancy projects with PT. PLN (Indonesian state-owned electricity company). In these consultancy project, Yoga was appointed as the expert in energy systems modelling and optimisation.
