I am a bioinformatician working on bacterial genomic epidemiology. My expertise focuses on using whole-genome sequencing data to understand success of bacterial pathogens in causing infectious disease. My research interests include:

  • Antimicrobial resistance and virulence
  • Horizontal gene transfer and mobile genetic elements
  • Evolution and transmission of bacterial pathogens
