I am a PhD student under the supervision of Professor Mark Rehkämper and Professor Tina van de Flierdt.

Current PhD project involves understanding the geochemical cycling of lead (Pb) in the ocean through high-resolution analyses of the Pb concentrations and isotope compositions of seawater and seafloor sediments recovered from various ocean basins. Large part of the project will contribute to the international GEOTRACES programme.

My project focuses on the influence of mid-ocean ridge hydrothermal activities on the budget of dissolved Pb in local seawater. My project also involves tracking the provenance of terrigenous Pb in the Eastern Equatorial Pacific Ocean and dispersion of anthropogenic Pb in the Southern Ocean.
