Summary

Yongxuan Tan received his Masters of Engineering (M.Eng) degree (First Class Honour) from Imperial College London in 2020, with his Master's solo project focused in a 3D facial expression rendering system for abdominal palpation training. His research interests include computer graphics and 3D simulation, mechatronics and soft robotics. Yongxuan is currently a Research Assistant with the Dyson School of Design Engineering, Imperial College London, and a member of Morph Lab, Imperial College London. He is actively involved in the development of a robotic face for simulating patients of different demographic backgrounds and mechanical and virtual facial expression rendering methods.
