Summary

Zaeem is working as a Research Assistant in the Centre for Vestibular Neurology at the Department of Brain Sciences under the supervision of Dr. Barry Seemungal. His research interests include understanding the brain mechanisms of the postural control of balance, self-motion perception, vestibular cognition, and its modulation via non-invasive brain stimulation, particularly using galvanic vestibular stimulation (GVS). He is an expert in the analysis of neuroimaging and EEG data with a keen interest in computational neuroscience and models of postural control.

Zaeem's educational background includes a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Pakistan in 2015 and a master's degree in biomedical engineering from the NUST, Pakistan in 2018. During his master's, he also worked as a research assistant (2016-2018) under the supervision of Dr. Muhammad Nabeel Anwar and Dr. Muhammad Samran Navid, while acting as the laboratory in charge of the Human Systems Lab in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering (SMME), NUST, Pakistan.
