Summary

Zhenwen is a 2nd year PhD student in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Imperial College London, funded by the China Scholarship Council (CSC). He is working with Professor Guillermo Rein in the area of battery fire in Imperial Hazelab. His PhD focuses on computational study on self-heating ignition of Lithium-ion battery. He comes from Jiangxi, China and studied Thermal Energy and Power Engineering (BS, 2015) and Power Engineering and Engineering Thermophysics (MS, 2017) at Harbin Institute of Technology. His research interests include battery fire, fire safety, heat transfer, and electrochemical kinetics.
