Sensors and Wearable Electronics
Bioelectronics, wearable electronics and sensors
Theme Lead and Champions
Prof Ji-Seon Kim
Prof Ji-Seon Kim is deputy director of the CPE. Ji-Seon is the theme lead of our sensors and wearable electronics theme. The theme aligns very well with her own research interests; her group in Physics focuses on the processability and functionality of organic and organic-inorganic hybrid semiconductors for new devices including displays, solar cells, transistors and biosensors.
Dr Felice Torrisi
Dr Felice Torrisi is Champion of our sensors and wearable electronics research theme. Based in Chemistry, Felice's interests span from printed and flexible electronics to photonics with graphene and 2D materials, with particular focus on energy, sensing, wearable electronics and bioelectronics.
Dr Firat Guder
Dr Firat Guder is Champion of our sensors and wearable electronics research theme from the Department of Bioengineering. Firat and his research group work in the intersection of material science, electronics, computing, biology and chemistry to develop intelligent interfaces to connect complex chemical and biological systems with computers.
