Academic Foundation Year Two Doctors
If you have any questions about the scheme please get in touch:
Dr Andy McKeown
Faculty Development Lead (Maternity cover)
Academic F2 doctors in the department spend 3 days a week engaged in research and teaching, and 2 days working in a local GP teaching practice. We are an active research department with strong links to clinical medicine. This provides a solid foundation in training for both academic and general practice careers.
If you are interested in becoming an academic F2 in primary care, please first have a look at the links below. If you have further queries, please then contact the supervisor for the academic F2 programme Dr Andy McKeown for an informal discussion.
