In this seminar, we demonstrate how to apply the principles of self-coaching to minimise the risk of overload, manage personal energy, and achieve a better balance in life. Self-coaching guides personal growth and development using structured practices, mainly through periods of high pressure and change in both professional and personal realms.

Who is it for?

Academics, Researchers, Technical Staff and Learning and Teaching Staff who want to minimise academic overload, gain more satisfaction in work and achieve better work-life balance.

Academics are typically competent, conscientious, and highly engaged in their work. At the same time, it's now easier than ever to access work away from the workplace, making it difficult to switch off. High engagement and an "always-on" culture can run the risk of overwork, negatively affecting family life, sleep, and overall wellbeing.
