Availability and access to formal mentoring schemes vary across the College. If there is no formal mentoring scheme currently available to you, it may still be possible for you to find a mentor.

• Talk to your line manager or another experienced person in your department/area of work. They may be able to recommend someone and may also be willing to test out someone’s interest in becoming a mentor and broker the relationship for you.
• Departmental managers and administrators also have a wealth of contacts.
• Professional Services staff within Natural Sciences and Engineering can access the Professional Services Mentoring scheme.
