This workshop is a bespoke version of our training for prospective mentors. It is designed to equip potential mentors with the knowledge, skills, and practical tools to build and sustain effective mentoring relationships. During the workshop, we will examine what mentoring is (and isn't), focus on each key phase of the mentoring relationship (beginning, middle, and ending), and familiarise ourselves with some practical tools to help facilitate the mentoring process.
Although mentoring is open to any staff member, we find that women are particularly interested in mentoring, and we are pleased to offer this session to support Women at Imperial Week 2025.
The session will run for 2 hours (including a short break) and will include interactive elements as well as trainer input.
Facilitator – Jane Sloan – Senior Learning & Development Adviser
