I get an error message when I try to register – what should I do?

International students

If you are an international student and you require a visa to study in the UK, please make sure you have uploaded a copy of your visa in the Passport/Visa page in the online application system.

If you have already done this, please be aware that we will need 2–3 working days to check your visa and clear you for registration.
Please be patient as we process your documents during this busy period, and only contact us if you continue to see an error three days after uploading your visa. If you still cannot register after three days, please contact, making sure you include your CID number.

For more information about applying for a visa please see our International Student Support website.

Home and EU students

If you are a Home or EU student and you receive an error message when trying to register please contact, making sure you include your CID number or UCAS ID.
