Useful information

What should I bring with me?

Please make sure you only pack what you need to bring as otherwise you will find moving in difficult and you will not have room for everything you bring. You will only be permitted to bring one other person into the halls with you to help you move in, and to help with social distancing lifts will be limited to one household at a time – which could make for a slower arrival process than usual.

Although you will receive a Welcome Pack with three washable face coverings, you should also bring your own supply face coverings for use whilst you’re travelling and once you’ve arrived.

Remember that you can always buy things after you have arrived at the College. You cannot send anything to the halls in advance, except for items purchased from UniKitOut

Imperial students can receive a discount from UniKitOut, a company that specialises in providing packs that are tailored to the needs of new students. You may wish to consider pre-ordering bedding, crockery, cutlery and even some essential electrical items. Quote IMP10 at the checkout.

Ensure that your boxes are clearly labelled (in English) with your name, hall name, Imperial College etc. Please make sure you only pack what you need to bring as otherwise you will find moving in difficult and you will not have room for everything you bring.
