Eligibility criteria

This award is open to students studying in the Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Natural Sciences and the Imperial College Business School. Applicants must ordinarily reside in mainland China or Hong Kong (excluding Taiwan).

Please note: This scholarship is not available to continuing students.

Application process

The nomination process for the 2023-24 Lee Family Scholarship has now closed. Successful and unsuccessful candidates will be notified by 31 March 2023.

Information regarding the 2024-25 Lee Family Scholarship will be available in autumn 2023.

Additional information

Applicants must not intend to exercise their skills obtained as a result of the PhD in the UK, after completing their studies.

Please note that The Lee Family Scholarship is different to The Lee Family - Faculty of Medicine Scholarships.
