As part of your offer conditions, you will have been asked to provide the College with proof of your academic qualifications.

Applicants will receive instructions on how to verify their academic credentials within their offer conditions. Applicants should refer to their offer letter or Imperial Gateway (applicant portal) for the relevant details.

Where degrees are awarded by UK/Irish universities which have secure e-transcript sharing verification services or HEAR, then this service should be used and the transcript shared with the relevant Admissions team email address. Otherwise, an appropriate Staff/Department authority at the university should complete the statement of qualifications form and email this to the relevant Admissions team‌ email address.

For all other degree awards, where universities have secure e-transcript sharing verification services, then this service should be used and the transcript shared with the relevant Admissions team email address. Otherwise the Qualification Check Verification service must be used. Offer holders will receive a unique URL to access the Qualification Check Verification Service in their offer condition.

*A minority of offer holders who either deferred from 2020 to 2021 entry, or who received offers between October 2020 and March 2021 may have been given the opportunity to email their academic credentials to the relevant admissions team. These applicants should also have been provided a link to the Qualification Check Verification service. This service will have no cost to an applicant, so we would prefer these offer holders to use this. However, if you do email your academic credentials we will still accept this, but you may then be required to provide your original documents at registration. You will not need to provide original documents at a later date if you use the Qualification Check Verification service.

If you have any queries about how to supply proof of your academic qualifications please contact the relevant admissions team.
