Join the INSPIRE teacher training programme and qualify as a teacher in just ten months! We're on the lookout for researchers from a Physics, Chemistry, Maths or Engineering background who are good communicators and who are passionate about shaping the future of STEM education.

You will graduate from this intensive programme with:

  • a Master’s-level Post-Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE), awarded by Canterbury Christ Church University
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • an insight into Master’s-level research in educational theory and policy

Only a small number of students join the programme each year. This provides an extremely supportive environment in which to develop a strong foundation of teaching skills and prepare for a successful career in teaching. Over 80% of INSPIRE graduates are currently in teaching.

Applicants from the EEA (European Economic Area) or with resident status are eligible for an enhanced bursary, above any other PGCE programme.
