Vision and strategy
White City Campus is Imperial’s major new campus in west London, bringing together world-class researchers, businesses and partners from academia to work, share ideas and turn cutting-edge research into benefits for society.
Imperial is investing £2 billion in a new 23-acre campus at the heart of White City, one of London’s most exciting, dynamic and rapidly changing neighbourhoods. The area is home to pioneers in arts, culture, innovation, science and learning – organisations like BBC Media Village and the Royal College of Art.
The north site is home to multidisciplinary research facilities, innovation spaces for businesses of all sizes, and accommodation for postgraduate students and flats.
The south site will be a new innovation space for London, bringing together the best research, talent and business-building expertise.
We’re committed to making a positive impact on the area. We’re working with the local community to create new opportunities, develop talent and make tangible improvements in areas like education, employment, enterprise and health.
Two cornerstones of this effort are The Invention Rooms and the School of Public Health, both exciting and important ways for us to work with the community. Our impact here will not only be felt locally; if we do this right, it can be a model for others.
