The Barrer Centre is based in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Imperial College London. The Barrer Centre is run by a leadership team consisting of a Director, Deputy Director and three Theme Leaders, plus a Centre Manager. An external Advisory Board supports the leadership of the Barrer Centre, providing advice on aspects of research direction. In addition to the prinicipal members there are a number of affiliate members of academic staff, research fellows, postdoctoral research associates and PhD students who are involved in the activities of the centre.
