A full scale reinforced concrete footbridge has been relocated to provide a test bed for a wide range of advanced monitoring techniques and to assess their potential as part of an effective life cycle management strategy.

The project is based at the National Physical Laboratory (NPL) in Teddington. The Concrete Durability Group is the primary civil engineering consultant on the project advising on all aspects of structural inspection, analysis and durability.
