Dr. Fatemehsadat Pishbin is a post-doctoral research associate at Imperial College London in the department of Materials.

She has extensive experience in the study of colloidal suspensions and electrophoretic deposition of multifunctional composite films. Her current research focuses on studying electrophoretic processes to prepare nanocomposite thermoelectric films for energy applications. These films consist of conductive polymers, graphene and carbon nanotubes.

In addition to that she is applying her electrochemical knowledge to develop tough nanocomposite films to be used as antimicrobial coatings in industry as well as in biomedical field.

After receiving a B.Sc. in Metallurgy from the University of Tehran, she joined Imperial College London. She obtained an M.Sc. in composite materials from the department of Aeronautics and a PhD in biomedical composites from the department of Materials.
