The 20th of March, Imperial College hosted the PostGraduate Research Day of the Materials Department.

The day was organised by Clare Watts, Stephanie Maynard and Gloria Young, and with the help of the Postgraduate supervisor, Prof.  Eduardo Saiz. It hosted 24 talks from different fields as ceramics, biomaterials, nuclear research, energy...given by 3rd year PhD students. It also had a good acceptance between 2nd year students, as 30 of them presented poster related to their work.

Finally, some of the first year students chaired the different sessions during the day.

After the nice, interesting and amusing talks, there was time for the Prize Ceremony delivered by the Head of the Department, Prof. Peter Haynes, with the following winners:
