At the Wearable Technologies Lab, we are constantly looking at ways of improving the quality of EEG signal acquired under different noise conditions. As part of this work, we are developing low-complexity algorithms to filter out noise from the acquired signal. Our research also includes creating algorithms for automatic identification of abnormalities on the ECG signal, such as atrial fibrillation. Further, we also look at innovative ways of acquiring cardiac parameters from unconventional signals and locations on the body.
