It is helpful for the news and media team to hear about the community's successes and what new research projects are starting, but please be aware that when considering potential news stories and press releases we will usually prioritise new research findings and innovations over announcements of funding or prizes.

There are some exceptions to this - we will definitely be in touch if you win a Nobel Prize! Please feel free to contact us if you would like to discuss a new grant or prize that you have been awarded.

If we cannot promote your award, you might consider uploading your own news story to the local news feed of your department and promoting the award on social media.
