Summer school social events

The London Eye
Social activites include a boat tour of the River Thames

There are many social events organised for the students at different stages of the programme. Evening get-togethers, lunches and dinners with the Imperial College staff and students are just some of the options.

Two one-day leisure trips are organised (such as Stonehenge, Bath and Windsor Castle and a London riverboat cruise to The Tower of London and Royal Greenwich).

All students receive a London Transport Oyster travel card pre-loaded with £10 that can be used and topped-up for travel within London during the course. A full-time local tutor/mentor is assigned to your course group and members of our team are always available to assist.

We also have a 5-a-side soccer championship, held in the evening, which is a highly charged competitive event. The winning team's name is engraved for posterity on the much-coveted annual trophy, while mementos are provided to take back home.
