170 Queen’s Gate is an exclusive venue for meetings, seminars and conferences in an elegant Victorian setting. There are four rooms to choose from, all of which are beautifully decorated with period details. The ground floor can also be used as a whole making it ideal for conferences and large events.

Council Room

The Council Room is an elegant space with its sparkling chandelier. It's ideal for corporate event, private dining, meeting, reception and banqueting.

Solar Room

The Solar Room, with access to the lovely garden space, offers an intimate space for private dining, product launch, training and reception.

Drawing Room

The Drawing Room offers great privacy and has a light and airy feel by day. The stylish space is well suited to intimate conference and business meetings. 

The Salon

Located on the mezzanine level, this modern, intimate boardroom set-up is an ideal place to have small meetings.

The Garden

The beautiful garden makes a perfect spring or summer party venue. The secluded courtyard garden can also be used as an extension of the Solar Room's private dining facility.

Cancellation and reduction of room booking

Due to the high demand of bookings for 170 Queen's Gate, the cancellation and/or reduction of bookings period has been amended as follows:

For bookings where the total of the minimum spend is below £1,000:

 In the event of meeting rooms being cancelled within 10 working days prior to the date of the event, the Catering department reserves the right to charge 100% of the minimum spend.

 For bookings where the total of the minimum spend is above £1,000:

 In the event of meeting rooms being cancelled within 20 working days prior to the date of the event, the Catering department reserves the right to charge 100% of the minimum spend.

Room booking during teaching hours (9.00-18.00 term time)

We are unable to book anything during teaching hours with the exception of 58 Prince's Gate and 170 Queen's Gate.
