The UK Space Design Competition is a science and engineering challenge designed as a simulation of life in industry. We’ve assembled 5 of the top teams of space designers from across the country, who have had 24-hours to design a space settlement. Today you will hear and see the team’s designs, which they will be presenting present to a panel of judges including experts in the field and representatives of the UK Space Agency. The winners of the final will go to the international final at a NASA space centre.

The UKSDC is open to secondary and sixth form students (Years 10 – 13) in the UK, and entry to the competition is via video and regional events. A series separate Micro-Competitions replicate this experience for younger students in Years 7 – 9.

The event is open to all, if you would like to know more please contact Jess Wade.
