ALVORADA

In celebration of the Blyth Centre’s 20th anniversary, an exciting new initiative will be launched on the White City Campus this autumn.

Gig-a-bites is a series of jazz, world and folk music performances from some of the most exciting artists in the UK. Join us for the first gig of our series on Wednesday 29 September from 13:00-14:00 outside MSRH & I-HUB. We are thrilled to welcome Alvorada, the UK’s leading performers of Brazilian choro, a rich and uplifting style of instrumental music originally from Rio de Janeiro.

It is free and open to everyone so join your friends and colleagues and enjoy a mid-week musical boost with uplifting live music. Venue information for upcoming concerts will be available on the Blyth Centre’s What’s On pages. ”

In the event of wet weather, the concert will move into the MSRH common room. This will be operated on a first come, first serve basis and numbers will be limited.
