Title: Dynamical systems for rough partial differential equations

Abstract: We investigate dynamical systems for semilinear parabolic rough partial differential equations (RPDEs). Using a scale of Banach spaces tailored to the controlled rough path approach, we establish global-in-time existence of solutions for RPDEs and therefore obtain random dynamical systems. Since the breakthrough in the rough paths theory there has been a major interest in investigating the asymptotic behaviour of RPDEs. We contribute to this aspect and establish the existence of invariant sets for RPDEs. Parts of this talk are based on joint works with Robert Hesse and Christian Kuehn.

The talk will be followed by refreshments in the Huxley Common Room at 4pm.
