Blackett building reflecting hazy sunshine

Message from Phil Snaith to Physics class of 1974

Dear Physics class of 1974 alumnus,

We are pleased to inform you that a date has now been set for a 50-year reunion of your Physics classmates.

There has been strong interest so far, with around 70 intended participants (including partners), and the organisers hope that you will be able to attend this milestone event. The event format will be an informal lunch together with activities in the Department of Physics (full schedule to be confirmed with registered attendees).

The cost per person will depend on the final arrangements made for lunch and, of course, final numbers of attendees. The organisers currently estimate a unit cost in the range of £50 – £65 (maximum) per head, excluding any accommodation. Every effort is being made to minimise cost whilst assuring a suitable quality for such a milestone event.

Should you plan to attend, it would be helpful to know the names of any partners/guests joining you or any dietary requirements that ought to be taken into consideration when you get in touch.

With thanks best wishes on behalf of the organising team,

(Keith Arundale, Caroline Nuttall, Phil Snaith, Meg Southwood and Marie Still)
