This week long course aims to cover how to perform a metabolic profiling experiment, from start to finish. It will cover study design, sample preparation, NMR spectrometer set up for global profiling, 2-dimensional NMR experiments and spectral data analysis.

    • Multivariate Statistical Analysis Methods
    • Multivariate statistical analysis using SIMCA-13
  • Practical Session IV (Metabolite Identification & Confirmation)
    • Sample preparation for spiking in standard compounds
    • Instrument set-up for 2-dimensional NMR spectroscopy
    • 2-D Spectral Process & Interpretation

Day 5

  • Typical Application of NMR-based Metabolic Profiling
  • Tips, Tricks & Troubleshooting
  • Panel Discussion

This course has been approved by the Royal Society of Chemistry. This event has been awarded 30 CPD credits by the Royal Society of Medicine in accordance with its current guidelines.
