Professor Emile S Greenhalgh awarded Chair in Emerging Technologies Grant by The Royal Academy of Engineering

Professor Emile Greenhalgh has today been awarded a 10 year Chair in Emerging Technologies research grant by Royal Academy of Engineering.

The award of the grant will support research and development of emerging technologies at Imperial College London, helping to build a more sustainable society with far reaching economic and social benefits to the UK.

Professor Emile S Greenhalgh is a leading figure and has a well respected international reputation in composites. He has pioneered the development of structural composites which have the capacity to store and deliver electrical energy, and leads one of the largest Groups in this field.
