Imperial Fungal Science Network/Symposium: Novel techniques in bioengineering, biotechnology and synthetic biology for fungal science

A series of symposia organised by the Imperial Fungal Science Network bring together researchers at Imperial and beyond to tackle global challenges in fungal science.

Dr Claire Stanley, of the Fungal Science Network Leadership Team, hosted the symposium on Novel techniques in bioengineering, biotechnology and synthetic biology for fungal science.

The symposium was held as a hybrid event on Wednesday 8th February 2023, 15:00-17:00 at the Flowers Building, South Kensington Campus. 40 guests joined in-person and more online.

Visiting speaker Prof. Pilar Junier University of Neuchatel, Switzerland (Laboratory of Microbiology) led the programme including speakers Prof. Tom Ellis, Mr Felix Richter, Dr Young-Kyoung Park and Dr Emily Masters-Clark.
